Privacy PolicyOverviewThis Privacy Policy explains what information Lumira collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. Lumira is a private self-reflection and communication-support tool.Effective date: June 9, 2026.Information we collect

Account data: your name, email address, and authentication identifiers.

Relationship/connection data: the connections you create and who participates in them.

Your inputs: journal entries, reflections, message drafts, questionnaire responses, notes, and behavioral tags you create.

AI data: the prompts you send to AI features and the AI outputs generated for you.

Diagnostics: limited error logs needed to keep the app working. We do not place raw journal entries, messages, or AI prompts in logs.

Usage analytics are off by default and only collected if you opt in.

How we use your informationWe use your information to operate the app, generate your reflections and suggestions, keep your data isolated to the connections you belong to, and secure your account.We do not sell your personal information.Partner privacy — what each person can and can't seeLumira is private by design. What you and your partner share stays inside your connection, and your private entries — journal, reflections, check-ins, and AI conversations — are yours.The person who owns a connection can invite a partner, but cannot read that partner's private entries. Connection owners and facilitators never gain access to another participant's private content — this boundary is enforced in the app, not just promised.Your account & credentialsYou control your own login. You set your own password, can change it at any time, and can reset it by email if you forget it. Lumira does not share your password with anyone, including other members of your connection.As the platform operator, we can suspend or remove accounts that abuse the service or violate our Terms. That moderation authority does not grant access to the private contents of your entries.Security

Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details.

We do not sell your data, and we do not allow our AI provider to train models on your content.

If a data breach ever affects your information, we will notify affected users without undue delay.

Third-party AI providersTo generate suggestions, relevant content you submit is sent to our AI provider solely to return a result to you. Lumira does not use your content to train AI models, and we do not permit our provider to use your content to train their models for other customers.Data retentionWe retain your data while your account is active. You can delete individual entries at any time, and you can delete your entire account from within the app.Your controls: export, deletion, and consentThese controls are available under Profile → Privacy & Data, and are summarized on the Data Controls page.

Export: you can request a copy of your data.

Deletion: you can delete individual entries, a connection, or your entire account.

Consent: shared relationship analysis only runs when participants opt in, and you can withdraw consent at any time.

SecurityWe use authenticated sessions, connection-scoped access controls, and store secrets only in our server environment. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information using reasonable safeguards.ContactQuestions about privacy?
